Spaghetti Bolognese review by Nicoleciurej
I grew up in an Italian household, where my Nonna made everything from scratch. I am extremely picky about bolognese sauce. I cannot believe how well base Camp has made this dish. You can truly taste every element of the sauce from the tomato, to the garlic, to the basil. The meat ratio is perfectly balanced, which makes for a highly addicting dish. If you like Bolognese, you must give us a try.

The lodge wings are so good! The chicken is always juicy and nicely seasoned. Definitely a must try appetizer!
Gluten Free Pizza! review by Monica
The staff was amazing. My husband and I had the Gluten free Base Camp pizza, Pear & Walnut Salad and Wings with BBQ and Ranch! It was amazing and we couldn't have been more happier. The server was amazing. My teen son had the Italian herb shrimp Penne and devoured his plate. He was most excited because I have a gluten and shell fish allergy so he was able to eat something that wasn't in our home. I however made a joke about my sons dish as it contain all my allergies in it but the food runner was confused and thought I was complaining , I let the server know that I was just joking, she said he was new. That's the kick back vibe I got from this place. I have a gluten and shellfish allergy and I did not have any reactions or issues. It was a fantastic experience for someone who can't really eat out much!!

Smoky BBQ Chicken with Bacon review by M35driver
We don't come to South Lake Tahoe - We come to Base Camp Pizza. We don't ski. We eat Pizza. The BBQ Chicken Pizza is hands down the BEST EVER. GOAT status. The calamari was good too. We are here 2 days. Plan is to eat here twice & grab a pie to go. Don't judge me. Get your own pie or 2 or 3 - I'm not judging.

The absolute BEST most delicious spinach artichoke dip I've ever had! It's served with warm fresh and soft pita bread!! 11/10 highly recommend adding it to your order! My mom and I's favorite! everytime we are in town we get this as tradition, its so yummy!
